Summer is almost everyone’s favourite time of the year because of the cool and sunny atmosphere it brings. Doesn’t it feel nice to wear clothes that show a peek of that wonderfully made body of yours? Isn’t it great to finally go to the beach and show off your summer body? This should be the normal experience for everyone, yet, there is high likelihood that you are one of those people that might not be feeling particularly optimistic about this year’s summer.

Mentally, you have slayed in this red body-hugged gown. “I’m going to get him drooling with this hot body. My hips will definitely kill him.” Alas, you wear the dress and disappointment hits you on the face like the Thor’s hammer. Your fat belly is bulging out in the gown, and you are looking like a woman that has birthed five kids. Guys are not left out from the embarrassment caused by excess belly fat. Imagine your crush curving you just because you don’t have a sexy stomach? Tragic right?

I’m sorry if you feel this way. Trust me, you should not feel too bad about your situation because there are several million people out there suffering from belly fat. Yeah, the menace has eaten so deep into our society. This explains why dangerous drugs, unideal tips and waist trainers are currently in vogue. Everyone wants fast result (well, considering our generation, let’s say I’m not so surprised).

Yes, I’m talking to you, don’t look away from the screen of your phone. You don’t need any waist trainer that might later implicate your health to lose belly fat. Sometimes, we are the creators of our problems. When next you want to buy that soft drink, soda, white bread, shawarma, pizza or KFC bucket, think about your fat embarrassing stomach! Observational studies in science shows that there is direct relationship between high sugar intake and abdominal fat. Limit your sugary food intake if you truly want that summer body.

GET PLENTY OF RESTFUL SLEEP.

In a world where most of our lives is synonymous with stress, it is not surprising to discover that lack of sleep is one of the reasons why most of you probably have belly fat. A 16-year old study shows that 68,000 women found out that those who sleep less than five hours were significantly likely to gain weight than those who slept seven hours or more per night. If you intend to effectively lose your belly fat, getting high-quality sleep should be one of your main priorities.

DRINK GREEN TEA.

While this advice may sound cliché (it is used by almost all weight loss advisers), green tea is one exceptional healthy beverage that is pivotal if you actually want to lose belly fat without any future side effect. It contains caffeine and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), two ingredients that are highly effective for high metabolism.

EAT HIGH PROTEIN


Protein is a vital nutrient needed for weight control. Hence, if you are trying to shed some extra pounds around your waist, you should include more of high protein foods such as fish, lean meat and beans in your diet.
