Orgasm doesn’t come as quick and easy to the female like it does to the male. About only 58% of female experience orgasm in their lifetime and 80% of females admit to faking orgasm during sexual experience.
Having the good ‘ole’ orgasm is not only about vaginal penetration, it is also about your creativity and being handy with other parts of your anatomy (hand, head, feet). Not all women reach orgasm the same way. ” Some women need direct clitoral stimulation in order to orgasm, while other women can either have clitoral orgasms through direct stimulation or intercourse. In addition, some women can only have orgasms through intercourse (which can be G-spot and/or clitoral” says Sari Cooper, couple and sex therapist.
Some of these positions are deviations from the conventional missionary and doggy style we have come to know, but are quite simple. If you want to figure out your body and what makes you tick, starting with smaller and easier positions can give big yields.
1. The modified missionary or butterfly position
“With the woman on her back and her hips on the edge of the bed, the man penetrates her while standing,” says Dr. Madeleine M. Castellanos, a psychiatrist who specializes in sex therapy. “She then puts her legs over his shoulders and tilts her hips slightly upward. This gives a wonderful angle for cervical stimulation, with deep penetration that can produce some intense vaginal and uterine orgasms. With more shallow penetration, a man can stimulate the anterior vaginal wall to hit the G-spot.” This is one of the best sex positions for going deep. It brings the faces of the partners closer to eachother. Which means she can look at you as she cums, which will strengthen her connection and addiction to you.
2. Scissors cutting position
“Heating up hot spots aren’t your hands-only talents,” says Jaiya. “They’re also great at moving body parts where you want them, and this technique is a prime opportunity. During intercourse, raise your legs, then have your man hold an ankle in each hand. From there, you can spread her legs apart, hold them together, part them at 80 degrees — the options are endless. And since the tendons of the legs pivot deep in the pelvic cavity, moving them around will subtly alter the below-the-belt sensations for you both. Talk about getting a leg up on a little variety!”
3. Hot in the steam
According to therapist Vanessa Marin, “Most people want to try it because they’ve seen a hot shower sex scene on TV or in a movie, but you have to keep in mind that there’s an entire crew making sure that scene looks effortlessly sexy.” To make the orgasm possible, concentrate the shower spray between your legs, where your clitoris is located, and your partner enters from behind. Use a silicone-based lube (water-based will rinse right off) and hold onto something sturdy—you’ll need it.
4. Face off
Your partner sits on a chair or the edge of the bed; you seat on his lap, facing him
“During this sex position, you’re in control of the angle and depth of the entry and thrust. Being seated adds support, so it’s great for marathon sex sessions” says Nichole.
5. Face bow
Lie facedown on the bed, legs straight, hips slightly raised. This is like the inverted missionary style. This sex position creates a secure and tight fit, so your partner’s penis will seem even larger. Some shallow thrusts and deep breathing will help the romp last longer.
6. Ballet dancer
This position looks like two dancers in a love tryst. Stand on one foot, face your partner and wrap your other leg around his waist while he helps support you.
“This sex position allows for quality face time and connecting. If you’re really flexible, try putting the raised leg on his shoulder for even deeper penetration” says Nichole.
